Yellowman - New York - Ras Records

Released on 23 February 2004. - The details from Ras Records are shown below.

The once hugely prolific Yellowman returns with this opus dedicated to New York.  Generally Yello seems mellower than before, nonetheless he is still capable of some (possibly) controversial lyrics, and still has an eye for the ladies.  In style a mix of the old and the new dancehall, the melodies are infectious but unfortunately they are not particularly memorable.

Best tracks are the eastern influenced, thought provoking Leave Iraq Alone but usually the more upbeat tracks are the best like the 70s stylized World War, Freedom Walk or CNN News.
