Solar Disco Box - Set SMETD018

Not much to be said here really just put on your disco rags, put the Cd on and non stop boogie. All the hits. All the Solar sound from good commercial disco soul , danceable soul and out and out formulaic disco. Pretty much the 10 year span from 1977 onwards.

There is some great material on here particularly the Whispers. Much of the material has been covered elsewhere on the site in respect of more specific artist CD’s but if you want an overview from quality to warts then this will do. Midnight Star, Calloway, Collage are my favourites but I even like some of the out and out commercial Shalamar. Nice compilation.
