Dat – The Best of Pluto Shervington -  TJACD178

There’s very little on here to commend strongly apart from the obvious hits.  Some of it is pleasant enough in  jamaican middle of the road way.  One for completists and fans only

Pluto Shervington: Dat: The Best Of Pluto Shervington (TJACD178)

Format: CD album
Released: May 31 2004
Availability: In stock: immediate despatch
Price: £8.99

Aside from Sherington's 3 international hits, 'Dat' also features his best-loved recordings from the seventies, a period when the singer enjoyed considerable success, both at home and abroad. While the material is by and large light-hearted in nature, tracks such as 'Dis Ya Hard Time' and 'I Man Bitter' illustrate Pluto could be equally adept at biting social commentary.
