This is without doubt one of the better
Urban Edge artist documentaries.
One , because she is a legend and has plenty to tell and see, Two
because she is allowed to say so and the DVD allows her perspectives to come
across (as opposed to someone elses view), Three, the supporting interviews
command so much respect for her and finally the concert footage is more than
acceptable.
The documentary covers the whole of her
performing life over 5 decades, is informative and interesting, doesn’t only
concentrate on the upside.
A very interesting and comprehensive
package.
