Laurel Aitken at Club Ska
Released on 16 February 2004. -
The Godfather of Ska Laurel Aitken need we say more. Ok we don't really care for live albums but Laurel is the man, has entertained since the 50's. He's paid his due, and over again, so stand up, jump back, and feel this. If you weren't at this gig, there's a fair chance that you were at a previous one o this album will take you there.
Any actually it's not a bad album at all. Less frantic than you might expect, yes some of it is fast paced but it's all full of clarity and full of good vibes and good fun, from the every early Boogie in my Bones right through. The humor of Bartender and Sally Brown, skinhead anthems, and old R'n'B.
Good fun indeed.
