Jabari Grover - When I'm With You
Contains a stunning
Modern soul track I’ll be around Whilst being received on the dancefloor they
are little more than mid paced allowing you to still feel and appreciate
jabari’s voice which is strong
distinctive and full yet mellow and warm. But right from the opening
track a jazzy I can’t help it your attention to the quality is grabbed.
Other standout tracks
are Pocket full of dreams and my particular favourite Since you’ve been
gone. The latter again is
something below midtempo and the voice is somewhat strained but it sure is a
tune. Everythings gonna be alright
is another quality stepper.
There are no bad
tracks on here , the quality is consistent so if your thing is mellow, well
produced, distinctive,soul then this is for you. This will be one of the albums
of the year for sure.

A truly creative artist isn't content resting on past
accomplishments nor can he endure remaining still. His greatest satisfaction
is derived from forward movement: travelling and exploring new avenues and
diverse paths. Such is the case with Jabari, who is a gifted
vocalist/musician based in Atlanta, GA. For the
last ten years, Jabari has been a full-time singer/songwriter who has
co-written songs with Pop/R&B band Color Me Badd and Jazz saxophonist
Walter Beasley. Also, Jabari has performed as a background vocalist on the
South American/European movie soundtrack Ava & Gabriel and lead &
background vocals on several commercial jingles for United Kingdom (UK) radio
and television. Between Jabari's studio work he has performed as an opening
act nationally and internationally for artists such as Chaka Khan, Levert,
Vesta, Johnny Taylor and Roy Haines. Jabari's
vocal styling offers his listeners an opportunity to travel on a number of
musical excursions. Listening to Jabari sing is like watching the Space
Shuttle Discovery launch off into space. His voice is very powerful, yet
smooth and breathtaking. The emotion and skills of Jabari allows him to be
considered one of the best contemporary vocalist/musicians of this
generation. You will find this evident in his performance not only as a vocalist
but also as a songwriter and producer. Album
